Michigan High School Girls Golf Set to Tee Off 2024 Season

With the beginning of the 2024 Michigan High School Girls Golf set to tee up, several top individual returners from the 2023 MHSAA State Finals are poised to make an impact. In Division I, Annie Flavin from Plymouth High School leads with a sixth-place finish last year shooting 153 (76-77), closely followed by Alena Li of Okemos High School with Seventh place finish at 154 (77-77). Copelin O’Krangley (80-79) of Caledonia High School and Isabel Kelly (77-82) from Grand Ledge High School both finished in the tenth spot at 159.

In Division II, Avery Manning from Dexter High School delivered an impressive performance finishing in the second position with a 144 (76-68), while Charlotte Boudeman of Gull Lake High School and Sydney Behnke from Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood finished in the seventh and ninth positions.

In Division III, Zoe Dull of Spring Lake High School, and Lillian O’Grady from Grand Rapids Christian both achieved 149 in a tie for second place, with Dull shooting 74-75 and O’Grady 77-72. Nicole Schafer of Williamston High School recorded a score of 150 (77-73) in fourth position.

In Division IV, Mia Melendez from Ann Arbor Greenhills led the way in first position with a score of 148 (79-69), followed by Logan Bentley of Brooklyn Columbia Central with 150 (79-71) in second place, and Grace Slocum from Traverse City St. Francis, who finished with 155 (75-80) finished in fourth.
