UPIKE Women’s Golf Outperforms Competition at Hidden Creek
Lima, – At the UNOH Invitational held at Hidden Creek Golf Club in Lima, Ohio, the UPike women’s golf team delivered an outstanding performance to claim the championship. The team finished a remarkable 35 strokes ahead of the second-place Midway University. Their consistent play throughout the tournament was evident, with scores of 295 in the first round, 296 in the second, and 300 in the third. The victorious lineup included team members Renee Crooks, Carly Crooks, Lauren Holmes, Tayla Howroyd, and Laney Sorrell.
Top five scorers for the event were Lauren Holmes 5th (UPike), Maryssa Phillips 4th (Midway), Tayla Howroyd 3rd (UPike), Renee Crooks 2nd (UPike) and Sharifah Binyahya (UNOH) who took medalist honors shooting a one under 215 (68,75,72).
