NAIA Women’s Championship Field Announced

As the 2025 collegiate golf season enters its final stretch, Ypsilanti, Michigan stands ready to welcome the 30th Annual NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship. From May 13 to 16, the prestigious Eagle Crest Golf Club will host 156 of the nation’s top NAIA competitors, representing thirty teams and six individual qualifiers.
Eighteen of the thirty qualifying teams earned their spots automatically by capturing titles in their respective conference tournaments. These automatic bids were awarded only to conferences with at least six member institutions that declared an intent to compete at the start of the season. The remaining twelve teams received at-large invitations, determined by the final 2024–25 edition of the NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 Rating.
Alongside the team qualifiers, six individuals earned a place in the championship field. Two of these golfers qualified automatically by finishing as individual medalists in their conference tournaments, representing schools that did not win the team title. The remaining four were selected as at-large individual qualifiers by the NAIA Women’s Golf Executive Committee based on season-long performance and eligibility.
Among the field, Oklahoma City stands out as the most decorated program, entering the championship with eight team titles and five individual national champions. British Columbia also brings a rich history to the competition, with seven team titles and one individual title. Keiser University arrives with three team championships and two individual titles, while SCAD-Savannah and Dalton State add further distinction with previous individual honors.
The full roster of automatic team qualifiers includes Bellevue (Neb.), Columbia (Mo.), Doane (Neb.), Embry-Riddle (Ariz.), Kansas Wesleyan, Keiser (Fla.), Lawrence Tech (Mich.), Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), Midway (Ky.), Oklahoma City, Our Lady of the Lake (Texas), Rocky Mountain (Mont.), SCAD Atlanta (Ga.), St. Ambrose (Iowa), Taylor (Ind.), William Carey (Miss.), and William Penn (Iowa). Each of these programs earned their place by winning their respective conference tournaments.
At-large team selections consist of Coastal Georgia, Cumberlands (Ky.), Dalton State (Ga.), Indiana Wesleyan, Loyola (La.), Marian (Ind.), Milligan (Tenn.), Oregon Tech, SCAD-Savannah (Ga.), Southeastern (Fla.), Texas Wesleyan, and Truett McConnell (Ga.). These teams were evaluated and chosen for their performance over the course of the season, demonstrating the depth and competitiveness of NAIA women’s golf.
Individually, the championship welcomes standout performers like Allison Meyerink of Dakota Wesleyan, who qualified by winning the Great Plains Athletic Conference medalist title, and Jalyn Bruns of Indiana East, the top individual from the River States Conference. Joining them through at-large selection are Hannah Ulibarri from The Masters University, Iona Pollitt of UT Southern, Cindy Koira of University of Victoria (B.C.), and Cristen Legaspi of Hope International.
