2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championship Set to Begin in Nevada

The 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championship is ready to tee off, with the nation’s top teams and individuals heading to Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. Scheduled for May 13–17, the event will bring together 72 teams and 24 individuals who advanced through regional competition to compete for the national title.

The championship field was officially revealed on April 28, following the conclusion of regional play on May 7. Four teams captured regional titles: Central Missouri (Central), Grand Valley State (East), Flagler (South), and Midwestern State (West). Each enters the final stage with strong postseason form and a shot at the national crown. The top-seeded teams from each region—Central Missouri, Findlay, Anderson, and Dallas Baptist—also secured their places in the finals.

Regional Champions and Qualifiers

  • Central Region: Central Missouri took the championship and is joined by Henderson State, Arkansas Tech, and Arkansas-Fort Smith.
  • East Region: Grand Valley State earned the regional title, advancing alongside Findlay, Ferris State, UIndy, and Missouri-St. Louis.
  • South Region: Flagler claimed the top spot, with Nova Southeastern, Anderson (SC), and Wingate also moving on.
  • West Region: Midwestern State secured the win, and Dallas Baptist, West Texas A&M, Cal State East Bay, and Cal State San Marcos complete the region’s qualifiers.

Individual Competitors

In addition to the team field, 24 individuals earned spots in the national championship based on regional performances. These include:

  • Central Region: Drew Dodgion (Southwestern Oklahoma State), Lydia Sitorus (Rogers State)
  • East Region: Ting-Yu Kuo (Wayne State-MI), Lisa Marie Schumacher (Tiffin)
  • South Region: Claudia Hastings (Limestone), Kajsa Lindqvist (Lander)
  • West Region: Arnie Taguines (UT Tyler), Lauren F. Lee (Western Washington)

Championship Format

The championship will span five days and feature both stroke play and match play to determine the team and individual national champions.
