Lady Tigers and Lady Chieftains Secure Big Wins on Tuesday Greens

It was a dominant day for local girls’ golf teams on Tuesday, with both the West Liberty-Salem Lady Tigers and the Lady Chieftains of Liberty Hills picking up impressive victories.

West Liberty-Salem made a strong statement against the Madison Plains Golden Eagles, winning convincingly 194-271. Olivia Reichardt led the charge with a stellar round of 41, setting the pace for her team. She was backed by Taylor Cook, who shot a 49, Geneva Estep with a 51, and Grace Jones who carded a 53 to round out the scoring for the Lady Tigers.

Meanwhile, over at Liberty Hills, the Lady Chieftains handled business against Kenton Ridge with a solid team score of 218-237. Gillian Steele stood out with a medalist round of 48. Contributing to the team’s success were Olivia Dearwester (53), Allison Myers (55), and both Ella Fultz and Paxton Stewart, each shooting a 62. Elliett Lang also competed, finishing with a 68.
