Reichardt Named Subway Girls Golfer of the Week as Lady Tigers Battle Tough Match Against Fairbanks

The West Liberty-Salem Lady Tigers faced their first league setback of the season, falling to the Fairbanks Panthers with a final score of 177-207 at Liberty Hills Golf Club.
Despite the loss, there were bright spots for the Lady Tigers. Geneva Estep led the way with a standout performance, shooting a 43 to tie her personal best and earn medalist honors for the match.
Olivia Reichardt, who has consistently been a strong contributor for the Tigers, posted a score of 52. Her steady play and leadership on the course have not gone unnoticed, earning her recognition as this week’s Subway Girls Golfer of the Week for Champaign and Logan Counties.
Other scorers for West Liberty-Salem included Taylor Cook with a 54, Justice Moore with a 55, Addie Hutton at 57, and both Ashlyn Pope and Marisa Smith turning in rounds of 58.
As the team looks ahead to the rest of their season, they’ll aim to bounce back and continue building on the individual progress and team chemistry that has been growing with each match.
