Tippecanoe Girls Golf Tops Piqua with Strong Senior Leadership
The Tippecanoe girls golf team turned in a solid performance with a team score of 189, defeating Piqua, who finished with 211. Tippecanoe was led by senior Ella Berning, who shot an impressive 39 to earn medalist honors for the match.
Fellow seniors Kylee Schreiner and Ava Hanrahan both carded 48s, providing consistent scoring to help secure the team win. Junior Bristol Kovaleski followed with a 54, while Mya Schreiner shot a 57 and Adelyn Deppen finished with a 67.
Piqua was paced by senior Emery Kuhlman, who shot a 51. Kaylie Hittle and Haylie Schultz, both juniors, each added a 53, while sophomore Isabella French turned in a 54. Senior Izzy Thoma finished with a 55, and sophomore Kamri Mendenhall rounded out the scoring with a 61.
