London and Northwestern Lead the Way at Central Buckeye Conference Golf Championships

The Central Buckeye Conference Championships concluded with thrilling performances and close competition at Locust Hills Golf Club in Springfield, Ohio. Both the Kenton Trail and Mad River divisions showcased impressive team efforts and individual talent, highlighting some of the best golfers in the conference.
In the Kenton Trail Division, London emerged victorious with a strong team score of 374. Jonathan Alder followed closely with 381, while Tecumseh secured third place with a solid 387. Bellefontaine, Kenton Ridge, and Urbana also competed fiercely, finishing with scores of 400, 409, and 416, respectively.
The Mad River Division saw Northwestern rise to the top, capturing first place with a team score of 380. Indian Lake and Graham were close behind, posting scores of 401 and 402. Benjamin Logan and North Union rounded out the division standings with scores of 410 and 413.
Individual honors were awarded to standout players from both divisions. Addi Accurso of Tecumseh earned Player of the Year honors in the Kenton Trail Division, highlighted by an impressive round of 87. In the Mad River Division, Candence Monroe-McCoy from Northwestern earned the same distinction after shooting a remarkable 80.
The Kenton Trail First Team featured top performers including Addi Accurso (Tecumseh), Allison Funk and Natalie Hess (both from Jonathan Alder), Julianne Hoskins (Urbana), Aleshia Pollock (London), and Gillian Steele (Bellefontaine). These athletes showed consistent skill and competitiveness throughout the championships.
On the Mad River First Team, selections included Catherine Bramlage (Benjamin Logan), Riley Donnelly (Graham), Alex Kinney (Indian Lake), Gabby Lindsey (North Union), and Northwestern’s Candence Monroe-McCoy and Bayleigh Ryder. Their strong performances played a key role in their teams’ successes.
